AHI is available to you as freeware. This means that you does not have to pay anything to use AHI for neither personal nor commercial use, but it is still copyrighted. You may not modify the files or archives in any way. For more information, see AHI User's Guide.

• AHI User's Archive (4.18, 1998-12-06, 300 kB): Everything you need to run programs that use AHI, and AHI User's Guide in AmigaGuide® format. [.readme]
• AHI Developer's Archive (4.16, 1997-11-04, 350 kB): Includes, autodocs, example source code and AHI Developer's Guide in AmigaGuide® format. [.readme]

The latest updates:

• The beta directory is where I upload new beta versions of AHI version 5. Supported platforms are AmigaOS/m68k, MorphOS/ppc and Amithlon/ix86.

Here are some extras, too:

• In order to use the installer script, you need the latest Installer (43.3, 100 kB).
• A AHI-Noteplayer (1.8, 1997-11-04, 16 kB): Noteplayer for Delitracker II. [.readme]
• A quick'n dirty port/hack of Bjørnar Henden's music program NewTracker (3.56/AHIr2, 1997-04-21, 90 kB). [.readme]
• My quick port of Speak Freely (6.1b, 380 kB). See Speek Freely for Unix for more information about the program. Note that you need ixemul.library and probably some termcap file as well. [.readme]
• The quick'n dirty Protracker Datatype (1.12, 1997-04-29, 7 kB), which allows you to play modules in Multiview. [.readme]
• A small patch (10 kB) for toccata.library version 12 that makes the TT_RawInt routine be called as a real hardware interrupt instead of a software interrupt. It makes the toccata driver perform much better (doesn't suffer when multitasking is turned off and requires less CPU power than the AHItoccataNoTask hack). Author unknown. Use at own risk. It could even be illegal to use it. I've heard that it doesn't work too well with the DraCo Motion, so only use it with the Toccata!
• A patch for sound.datatype (11 kB) version 40.6 (OS 3.1 version) that makes it use ahi.device instead of audio.device. DraCo users, rejoice! [.readme]
• The CyberSound calibration tool, used by the Paula driver. Written by Christian Buchner. Extracted from his CD-player archive.
• A very basic Hard disk recording program (1.1, 10 kB). The source is in the developer archive. [.readme]
• Some debug tools (30 kB) you should use before you report a bug in AHI (requires a MMU).
• Some developer files for Cluster, courtesy of Henning Thielemann.
• Rainer Müller has reported that the current E modules does not work. Since I don't program E myself, I can't tell, but here are his files available for download.
