Installation under Debian-based operating systems and GentooThe LysKOM elisp client exists in the package repositories for Debian based operating systems, such as Debian, Ubuntu, and Mint. Under these operating systems, the easiest way to install the LysKOM elisp client is by running the following command: apt-get install lyskom-elisp-clientThe LysKOM elisp client also exists in the package repository for Gentoo. Under Gentoo, the easiest way to install the LysKOM elisp client is by running the following command: emerge lyskom-elisp-client After the package has been installed, the LysKOM elisp client can be started with the following command: emacs -f lyskom Version 0.48 releasedJanuary 2005 • Version 0.48 of the LysKOM elisp client is now available (see the links to the left). This version is fully compatible with the Emacs versions listed under the system requirements, and works with somewhat reduced functionality in Gnu Emacs 19.34.
