Scientologikyrkan jobbar hårt för att förhindra att material från deras "Operation Thetan"-kurser skall spridas på Internet. Trots alla ansträngningar har de inte lyckats, materialet finns på hundratals olika ställen. Kan man använda någon av sökfunktionerna som finns hittar man det lätt. Vad är det då för hemligt material som finns att hitta på Internet? En grupp dokument kallas "the Fishman Papers", en annan "Scamizdat" och en sista innehåller personliga erfarenheter.

5.1 The Fishman Papers

"The Fishman Papers" härrör från en rättegång 1993 mellan Scientologikyrkan och en f.d. scientolog vid namn Steven Fishman. Fishman hade begått flera brott för att kunna finansiera sina egna OT-kurser. Han hävdade under rättegången att han blivit hjärntvättad av kyrkan och lämnade in hemligt OT-material som bevis. De blev på så sätt offentlig handling. Vem som helst kunde gå till domstolen och be att få titta på dokumenten. Scientologikyrkan försökte blockera denna möjlighet genom att själva varje morgon gå dit och låna materialet hela dagen. Men man kunde också be att få dem kopierade, en journalist på The Washington Post gjorde så och till slut kom materialet ut på Internet. Några publicerade "the Fishman Papers" på sina hemsidor och blev stämda och raidade på samma sätt som Erlich blev. I Holland hände samma sak när författaren och journalisten Karin Spaink publicerade materialet på sin hemsida . I den holländska rättegången blev utslaget att Spaink frikändes [LÄNK]. Publicering av "the Fishman Papers" ansågs inte olaglig, och den domen gäller hela EU-området, alltså även Sverige (och förhoppningsvis omfattas även denna uppsats).

Fishmandokumenten innehåller utdrag från alla åtta nivåerna inom Operating Thetan-kurserna. Scientologikyrkan hävdar dock att just OT VIII-dokumentet är en förfalskning, antagligen för att denna del av materialet innehåller en del märkliga teorier om Jesus:

For those of you whose Christian toes I may have stepped on, let me take the opportunity to disabuse you of some lovely myths. For instance, the historic Jesus was not nearly the sainted figure has been made out to be. In addition to being a lover of young boys and men, he was given to uncontrollable bursts of temper and hatred that belied the general message of love, understanding and other typical Marcab PR. Ett annat omtalat stycke från Fishmandokumenten har rubriken "On control and lying". Var i det riktiga OT-materialet det återfinns framgår inte av källan:

THE ONLY WAY YOU CAN CONTROL PEOPLE IS TO LIE TO THEM.

You can write that down in your book in great big letters. The only way you can control anybody is to lie to them. When you find an individual is lying to you, you know that the individual is trying to control you. One way or another this individual is trying to control you. That is the mechanism of control. This individual is lying to you because he is trying to control you - because if they give you enough misinformation they will pull you down the tone scale so that they can control you. Conversely, if you see an impulse on the part of a human being to control you, you know very well that that human being is lying to you. Not "is going to", but "is" lying to you. [LÄNK]

The pre OT may exteriorize during these drills but doesn't necessarily have to.

While still inside with eyes shut in a comfortable position the pre-OT is to follow the following commands and write down any major cognitions.

(9) Spot an object in the room.
(10) Spot an object outside.
(11) Locate a moving object.
(12) Locate a spot in your body.
(13) Spot a motion.
(14) Locate a space.
(15) Spot a Thetan.

Continue the above steps until major cognition, very good indicators or exteriorization occurs. [LÄNK]

5.2 Scamizdat

En annan grupp dokument går under beteckningen "Scamizdat". Man vet inte riktigt vem eller vilka det är som skickar dessa inlägg till alt.religion.scientology. Citaten från OT-materialet förefaller autentiska, de delar som går att kontrollera mot ex. fishmandokumenten överensstämmer helt och hållet. Att det rör sig om flera avsändare verkar troligt: de olika inläggen är kommenterade på olika sätt, vissa inlägg åberopar ex. "fair use provisions of copyright convention" medan andra inte gör det, vissa är väldigt ironiskt kommenterade medan andra inte är det. Scamizdat är fortfarande verksam, så ibland kan man hitta nya inlägg i diskussionsgruppen.

OPERATING THETAN

Section three

The head of the Galactic Federation (76 planets around larger stars visible from here) (founded 75,000,000 years ago, very space opera) solved overpopulation (250 billion or so per planet, - 178 billion on average) by mass implanting. He caused people to be brought to Teegeeack (Earth) and put an H-Bomb on the principal volcanos (Incident II) and THEN the Pacific area ones were taken in boxes to HAWAII and the Atlantic area ones to LAS PALMAS and there "packaged". His name was Xenu. He used renegades. Various misleading data by means of circuits etc. was placed in the implants. When through with his crime loyal officers (to the people) captured him after six years of battle and put him in an electronic mountain trap where he still is. "They" are gone. The place (Confederation) has since been a desert. The length and brutality of it all was such that this Confederation never recovered. The implant is calculated to kill (by pneumonia etc) anyone who attempts to solve it. This liability has been dispensed with by my tech development.

So, what can we learn from this? That Hydrogen bombs were detonated in volcanoes that did not, at the time, exist (Hawaii is a lot more recent than 75,000,000 years old) and that no geological evidence of such detonations exists.

That we dont have to worry about overpopulation until we start approaching 100,000,000,000 people.

That were going to die of pneumonia because we read this without paying the spiritual descendents of Elron thousands of dollars. [LÄNK]

5.3 Personliga erfarenheter

Många avhoppade scientologer har de senaste åren via Internet skrivit om sina egna erfarenheter av kyrkans kurser, övningar och texter. Här är det inte frågan om copyrightskyddade texter som avslöjas, men väl kursernas innehåll och uppläggning. Ett dokument jag fann var författat av Perry Scott, en f.d. scientolog, som kommenterar något som kallas Training Routines, eller förkortat TR, som skall träna ens förmåga att kommunicera.

OT TR0 Operating Thetan Confronting

As I took these TRs at the local Scientology Mission, I quickly learned that the students on course actually taught each other. It's a great way for the Co$ to collect the $250 registration fee and reduce their staff overhead. After introducing myself to another slightly confused man in his mid 30s, we sat in front of each other, eyes closed, for the required time. I could hear him breathing, creaking in his foldup chair, and the sound of the other students sequestered in their exercises.

This was my first encounter with sensory deprivation, hypnosis, and mind control. The hypnotic techniques used in OT TR0 are sensory deprivation and stress, which produces an altered state of conciousness.

[ These exact commands and acknowledgements are given to the coach with Tone 40 Intention (intention without reservation or limit). The coach's body is then forced, by being physically restrained and dragged if necessary, to comply with the command. Coach does not do more than physically thwart the student from forcing him to comply. But not too hard. ]

This training routine gets the student accustomed to the idea of controlling and restraining others, and thereby accustomed to being controlled . In real-world terms, Tone 40 involves talking in a forceful enough voice so that the target knows you mean business. It works well on three year olds, though in most adult interactions where common goals motivate cooperation or compliance, Tone 40 invokes resentment. This Training Routine is not about communication in the real world. It is about the way communication works in Scientology.

Here, Hubbard's message is clear: non-compliance with Scientology's commands, especially during auditing, will be met with escalating levels of force - non-verbal, verbal, shouting, and physical. When you sign up for services, you give away your right to resist, since it's just your "case" talking. Your case is something to be "handled", and it can be handled up to the point of physical intervention. [LÄNK]

5.4 E-Metern avslöjad?

Ritningen till den hemliga E-metern finns faktiskt också tillgänglig på Internet. Dokumentet består av Hubbards patentansökan som lämnades in 1965. Det som visas här är bara två figurer av totalt fyra.
