This is a collection of 60 dances, 53 for 5 parts and basso continuo, and 7 for 3 parts and continuo by Johann Rosenmüller. The 53 pieces can be divided in 10 suites. The instruments are not specified, except for 2 treble, alto, tenor and bass. This collection, Studenten-Music was printed in Leipzig in 1654.
The source used for this transcription is a facsimile of the original print. I have always tried to be as close to the original as possible. Editorial changes have been put above the staffs, or within parenthesis. Slashed figures in the continuo have been replaced with their flat/natural or sharp equivalents. All accidentals and clefs have been converted to modern standard. All beaming is added by me.
