| The Story of ONE |
This is a story about the life of a program. It's one of the oldest things I've written, that I can still find in electronic form. It even has a sequel, which puns a lot on Douglas Hofstadter's book "Gödel, Escher, Bach, an Eternal Golden Briad", which I recommend you read! After the release of the movie "The Matrix", one almost wonders if the Wachowski Brothers didn't surf by my webpage some day.... |

| The Virtual Squirrel |
 I used to be into Virtual Reality for a while, and wrote some documents on that (see the tech info pages), and VRML, and I was active on the VRML mailing list. During that discussion, a hypothetical squirrel was used as an example, and I decided to actually write it. But VRML wasn't up to it at that time, so to write The Virtual Squirrel I used Meme from Immersive Systems. You can also find a little paper about How the squirrel was implemented, including sourcecode! |
