HEARTY CHILI
A hearty, hot and tasty chili
Ingredients
(serves 6)
- 500 g ground beef
- 1 kg onions,
sliced
- 4-6 garlic cloves,
minced
- 180 ml tomato paste
(or use
250 ml
cream of tomato soup)
- 1.2 kg kidney beans
- 100 g canned green chili peppers,
chopped (2 cans)
- 30 ml chili powder
- 7-10 ml oregano
- 60 ml oil
Procedure

Sautae onions in oil.

Add ground beef and cook until brown.

Add remaining ingredients including liquid from kidney beans.

Simmer covered for 20 minutes,
stirring occasionally.
(You may need to add more water during simmering.)
