Öland is Sweden's second largest island. It is tied to the mainland, at town Kalmar, by Sweden's longest bridge.
The only town on Öland is Borgholm, where there is a ruin from an old castle, where rock concerts are held in the summer. This is where Roxette recorded their music video "Look into your heart".
The Swedish royal family has their summer residence on Öland.
