The second part of The Middle-Earth Trilogy (also called the Colossal Trilogy). When it was re-released as part of the Jewels of Darkness package, all references to Tolkien were removed (except at one place in the manual where they forgot to replace "Amon Sul" with "Mount Sewl").
Personal evaluation: I have played very little of this game, but for a 1983 text adventure it is probably very good.
