I believe that this game is distributed with Berkeley Unix. It tests the player's knowledge on different subjects. One of the data files that is distributed with the game contains some nations and capitals in Middle-earth.

If you have access to a Unix system, you can try if the game is installed (and in your path) by typing "quiz mearth". This will start the Middle-earth quiz.

Personal evaluation: Fun for a while, but the Middle-earth file is very small.
