| What is this Blake's 7? |
A TV series that originally aired in the UK between 1978 and 1981. It's got roughly the special effects and sets of Doctor Who, but with much more interesting characters and scripts.

It's a mailing list about Blake's 7. It was started by me (Calle) in early November 1992, and has been going ever since.
Lately, it has also been about penguins. If you want to know why, ask Una.
| How do I subscribe? |
Point your webbrowser at http://lists.lysator.liu.se/mailman/listinfo/blakes7 and fill in the form.
If you for some reason can't use a browser, send a mail to blakes7-request@lysator.liu.se with a subject line saying "help". You will recieve a mail with further instructions.

| How can I post from my work address? |
The list is closed, so that only subscribers can post to it. This stops very nearly all spam to the list, which is good. It also means that you'll have to go to a bit of effort to be able to post from other addresses than the one you read the list from:
| Is the list archived? |
Yes, it is.
The old, ugly archive of all the digests can be found on Lysator's FTP site. Not very pretty, but it's there. This archive contains nearly everything posted to the list from its inception in November 1992 until the changeover to Mailman on 25 January 2001.
A newer, prettier archive can be found on my machine at work. It's
not guaranteed to be up at any given time, since I may disable it
temporarily if it takes resources I need more important things. This
archive contains as close to everything ever posted to the list as
it's possible to get.
At the new-style interface there is also a search engine, but it's not
nearly as good as I want it.
Mailman has its own archive. It's only open to subscribers, and you can reach it on the usual URL.

There are sort of two answers to this question. The first is what I don't want you to post. Read those as things you must not post. They are, in falling order of severity:

You can also use the above website to change your membership status or configuration, including setting digest-style delivery or disabling delivery altogether (e.g., for a holiday), and so on.
In addition to the website interfaces, you can also use email to make such changes. For more info, send a message to the '-request' address of the list (for example, mailman-request@list.blakes-7.org) containing just the word 'help' in the message body, and an email message will be sent to you with instructions.
