Lately, in some security investigations about a pirate group named MayDay I've discovered a new method of commanding a whole horde of flood bots: IRC channels. Their master enters a channel where the bots stay idle and sends commands via public channel messages. I can't provide the source of such a warbot for the given moment. I congratulate the guy that had this idea, it is more efficient to gather your army and give commands more easily. Of course, any kid with W.R. Stevens book near can develop such a tool, so watch out... -- Stefan Laudat Network and Security Engineer RoEduNet - THE Romanian Academic Network ------------------------------------------------------ e-mail:stefan@roedu.net ------------------------------------------------------ "God is real unless declared integer" (5154019) ------------------------------------------
