UNFORGIVABLES:

Things to avoid, or at least to do with full knowledge of the consequences.
Many things here will probably be things I have only heard of, in which
case they'll begin with a question mark. The listing is ordered by the time
needed to be granted forgiveness.
The main idea is to list things you need to avoid in order to keep your
character from being irrevokably punished. But a lot of things here are things
that might actually be fun to test. The serious things are in the bottom of
the list - they should be avoided unless you really know what you're doing.


Until you quit:
===============
* Attacking any creature/npc and failing to kill it.
     You will be remembered and attacked until you quit or die. Or he dies.
* Killing hobbits in Shire.
     Some hobbits will attack you on sight, for being a hobbit murderer.
     They will forgive you when you quit.
* Killing orcs in Shire.
     Most orcs will attack you on sight.
     They will forgive you when you quit.
* Failing when trying to help Rommik.
     You can try again after 20 minutes. But you must also quit and return.
* Killing Bodulas
     He will not accept your help. Forgotten once you quit.


Up to a day:

* Eating tubes of glue from Sparkle Museum
     If you eat a tube you will be unable to open your mouth (speak, eat,
     drink, etc.) for 30 minutes. Each tube works as food, lasting for 33m20s,
     so if you take a heap and "eat tubes" (if you try eat them one by one you
     will only manage to eat one), you will get a full belly, but not be able
     to use your mouth until slightly before your belly is empty again.
     Free food... with a nasty catch.


Up to a week:

* Getting caught trying to spy on the Mercenary guild
     Can't join the Free Mercenary Guild for a while. Maybe works after reboot,
     otherwise it's something between 1 and 6 days before you can join.


Up to a month:

* Attacking Hildifons
     Can't buy or renew certificates for 30 days.


Up to a year:

Some limit:

? Killing MT guards
     Ranger outlaw status. Uncertain what this means (all rangers attack you?).
     Also uncertain which guards this applies to.
     Note that these guards attack you if your align is in the lower part of
     unsympathetic, or lower.


Forever:
========
* Cheating/botting/exploiting bugs
     Bad cases can result in deletion. see "help rules" and "help botting" to
     learn what not to do.
? Killing the QM in Pelargir
     Can't solve his room and dock quest.
* Leaving Tutori Isle without solving all quests there
     No possibility to return and solve those quests later.
? Leaving and rejoining Cadets/Academics of Gelan
     Said to be harder to rejoin and might even be impossible if you leave a
     second time... not sure.
