The song was written during what it's about - a summer rain. It's in the key of F minor.
Several strange sounds have been sampled for this song, for instance, a breath noise, and someones voice where all syllables are reversed (to generate nonsense).
Most melodic sounds are made by my Yamaha CS-5 music computer (4 op FM synth), with some help from a friends Juno-6 for some triggered arpeggio stuff and my analog imitation of sampled voices...
It's all one-take, i.e. what's not programmed, is played by me the same time I sing.
