This package is for you that don't have any version below that is especially suited for your system. To use the source code distribution you need both python (version 2.3 or higher is required) and wxPython (version 2.4.2.x is needed at least) on your system. There is also a requirement to have PyXML. Download python here and wxPython here and finally you can fetch PyXML here. For windows systems, you will also need pywin32.

MacOSX doesn't yet have any special package, but we have, at least, made available some instructions on how to install Mattricks on the platform. These instructions are available here.
CVS, the absolutely latest version
Note that the development of Mattricks is in the CVS, so while you get the latest version it might also happen that it doesn't work very well.
To get the source code through anonymous cvs, write the following commands:
$ cvs -d :pserver:anonymous@cvs.lysator.liu.se:/cvsroot/mattricks login
$ cvs -d :pserver:anonymous@cvs.lysator.liu.se:/cvsroot/mattricks co Mattricks
At the password prompt, just press enter.
It is possible to view the source code on the web here.
You can download a snapshot of the CVS here.
From time to time (rather irregular) there will be made a windows installation file from the cvs tree. You can find these here.
