the-babylon-project-l - Discussion list for the B5 roleplaying game.
"We [Chameleon Eclectic Entertainment] sponsor a mailing list for discussion of The Babylon Project and related topics. It's a great place to share comments, questions and suggestions, and (after the game is released) house rules, adventure ideas, and supporting material with other gamers and the Chameleon Eclectic staff, or just to converse a little with other The Babylon Project players. To join, send an email note to majordomo(at)blackeagle.com with the phrase "subscribe the-babylon-project-l" in the body of the message (that last character is an "L", not a "one"). If you just want to lurk, and want to keep the volume of mail from the list at a minimum, sign up for the digest version of the list. Follow the same process, but send the command "subscribe the-babylon-project-l-digest"."

libfic-l - Libertarian Fiction
"I'm the maintainer of an sf-ish mailing list, known as Libfic (Libertarian Fiction). The particulars: libfic-l is for the discussion of (L/l)ibertarian fiction, especially (but not limited to) science fiction, including authors such as Ayn Rand, Robert A. Heinlein, Vic Milan, L. Neil Smith, and others. Of course, people will be permitted to discuss anything. I'm not responsible for the consequences, though, if someone comes on and starts trashing libertarian philosophies. It's your email box, not mine. I'm not going to censor anyone, nor am I going to decide who should and shouldn't be allowed on here. I'm just the guy who sweeps the floors and empties the ashtrays. Messages meant for the general list should be sent to libfic-l(at)peak.org. To subscribe, send e-mail to majordomo(at)peak.org
with subscribe libfic-l
in the body of the message. If you want to unsubscribe, send e-mail to majordomo(at)peak.org with
unsubscribe libfic-l
in the message. Anything after the command will be ignored. If you have any questions about the list, send them to me at archer(at)peak.org. Thanks for subscribing, and I hope you enjoy the list!" (Chris Goodwin) [Updated Oct 2001]
