Terrastock SF has been relocated to an alternate venue due to a last minute 
"complication" with the fire dept... moved from the highly convenient 
International Center to the Custer Avenue Stages, bordering the Intermodal 
Container Transport Facilty at SF port.  supposedly this is an "improved" 
venue space, however the remote location definitely complicates access to 
local bars/eateries... any SF natives/Terrastock attendees have advice or info 
regarding the port "neighborhood" re:  food/transport/safety?

wowzy wow, AMP played that night too? where was this? this IS the same 
band that did Perception, Sirenes, etc, right? have they ever toured the 
United States? 
about Bowery and the beats- personally, i love both versions of
Without Stopping, both the ultra slow repetitive original, and the 
car-chase scenestyle  Witchman remix.  i'm just curious, everyone who 
finds Bowery Electric's recent forays into sampledelia (which i LIKE, oh 
well :) - what sort of background do you come from musically...i mean, i 
guess it would seem sort of amateurish if you listened to a lot of 
breakbeat or techno stuff- but personally, the first music that was 
mostly built around the beat that i ever heard was hip hop. i didnt get 
into techno or jungle or whatever until much later..maybe thats why it 
still seems pretty neat to me. although having said that, even i too,can 
see when its painfully obvious that a track is just double speed 
sometimes, half speed others- a la Third Eye Foundation- damn, i was 
expecting so much more from him when he remixed Fear of Flying. that 
probably being a definitive song fro BE, you would think he'd have done 
better.
i miss BE's old sound too though- i was so disappointed when they didnt 
play Deep Sky Objects or Next to Nothing live..the only thing they did 
from that album was one of the weaker songs (IMO), Long Way Down.
damn me, did i really write all that?

yep. it was at the Garage in London, England. don't think they ever toured
the US.  by the way, if going by AMP then its the band, if A.M.P. then
it's one of the guys in the band solo.

didn't state that international orders for Solutions and remedies CD are

Mahogany's music is total bliss. Slowdive fans WILL love Mahogany!! They
use a drum machine, with a warm bossa nova feel to it, and the guitars are
very Slowdive-esque at times, with boy/girl vocals from two beautiful
voices. Essential listening, basically. But then again, I always hate
decscribing things because then you end up sounding like you are
pigeon-holing the band's sound, which is not what I like to do! They are
unique, and they are gorgeous, so everyone should try them out! :)

holy shit...i have never seen anything like that in my life and i've seen them
3 times prior to this.  they played for about 2 hours and the set included
shine a light, come together, 200 bars, so hot, walkin with jesus,
electricity, cop shoot cop, and like 4 songs from pure phase that i can't
remember the names of right now.  it was guest list only...it was a spin
magazine party sponsored by some rum company (rum of puerto rico i think they
are called) so there were free drinks.  i was watching the show with moby to
my left and radiohead standing behind me.  i had a bit too much to drink and
bumped moby by accident and i guess he got mad and walked away.  i was with
some friends so we were excited to get in.  we were the only non-guest listers
to get in after waiting from 7 o clock until 10.  the band went on at around
10:30.  why do they keep getting better?
