Is this the full CD of that band? I have one EP, I forgot the name, but
it had a silver sleeve. I compare them a very little bit with Curve,
although I acknowledge that the comparison does not go on all fours.

well, mines on record, i never saw it on CD. IMO the EPs are no where NEAR
as good as the LP.

Vocals, Lush melodic guitars, Sounds somewhat simlilar to the Autumns.
Actually.......The Autumns latest producer Andy Prickett helped engineer
this EP.
Both of these come with my highest recommendations.....I haven't
heard any new music this good in a while.
Another note.............Yes, Mogwai rules. Their song Tracy makes
me want to melt. And Fear Satan is so epic.

great label. everyone hear should check out the lassie foundation, which
is like a much sunnier, poppier version of the Jesus and mary chain. they
also released several 7" by bon voyage, which is jason martin (starflyer
59) and his wife, julie.

4. samuel barber - adagio for strings (i'm sure it's been done before, in film
anyway, but it's perfect)

it was refreshing to see julian cope in someone's top ten. I
would have put him in mine but it just slipped my mind. He's not slowdive-
like for sure, nevertheless he is on the far out spacey side.......more of a
syd barrettish level. My favorite julian cope album has to be "Fried" from
way back in 1984. He was also in a wonderful group called "the teardrop
explodes" in the early 80s........

Hi:
TBS is Bob Wratten. He used to lead The Field Mice -I love them!!- and
Northern Picture Library. Both bands published most of their references in
Sarah Records, so this could be a help.
TBS have published two albums. "Her handwriting" -the first and best one-
and "Lips that taste of tears", both in Shinkansen -the label run by Matt
from Sarah R.- Their/his music is a kind of melancholic/sad tecno pop, some
songs are terribly beautiful other can make a piece of wood smile.... Maybe
The Magnetic Fields could be a band to compare with.
I don't think suicide is a topic to talk about so naively. You could talk
about depressing songs instead.
People insist in finding most of these songs depresing. Beauty is what I
find in them:
