The star of the show, Rowan Åkerman The Sumo-Killer Turkey, officially weighed in at 13.2kg or 29lbs unstuffed and he was slaughtered fresh at the farm earlier this week. His last name originated from the misspelling of the order name, and his first name was in honor of Rowan Atkinson, who plays Mr. Bean, because very early this morning as we were stuffing the turkey, Magnus realized he was so big that it looked like a comedy prop, e.g. the turkey Mr. Bean gets stuck on his head. The cooking time, _estimated_ at 6.5h since turkey roasting tables stop at 24lbs, turned out to be 7h with the help of some foil and increasing the oven temp. BTW, he just _barely_ fit into the oven. He was a very delicious, juicy turkey.
